During the late 1970s, genius guitar innovator Leo Fender had begun to develop and launch a whole new brand of instruments, which featured his latest innovations. That brand was eventually released under the monicker G&L, with the ideas being developed at Leo's own CLF Research Company, and they continue to produce great instruments to this way.

This awesome bass features a lightweight Basswood body, a slim and comfortable hardrock maple neck, brazilian cherry fingerboard, and a pair of classic Alnico single-coil pickups, and an innovative Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock bridge.
