Featuring a solid Alder body - a tonewood prized by luthers for its bright, balanced, and resonant tone - with a traditional single cutaway profile and bolt-on neck, the G&L Fullerton Deluxe ASAT looks and feels every bit the classic instrument.
G&L Modern Classic Neck
Boasting a hard-rock Maple neck with a modern classic profile and G&L polished Vintage Gloss finish, this guitar offers a wonderful blend of vintage feel with modern playability.
Sitting on top of the neck is a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard, with nickel silver fretwire, enhacing the playability of this guitar even further.
Electronics Designed by Leo Fender
Giving the Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic its distinctive and versatile voice is a set of G&L Magnetic Field Design pickups.
Designed by Leo Fender himself, G&L MFD single coil pickups are found in both the bridge and neck pickup positions.
Using the neck pickup, you get beautifully rich tonal palette that you can take from pristine, clean jazz tones to thick and gritty blues.
Flick over to the bridge pickup and enjoy seriously crisp attack with some amazingly complex harmonics.
Three-way pickup selection allows you to choose between either of the two pickups or a combination of the two while volume and tone controls offer further refinement for tailoring your tone.
High Quality Hardware
Up on the headstock, you’ll find sealed-back tuning machines offering extremely precise tuning of your strings with their 12:1 ratio.
Down on the body, there’s an old-school style boxed-steel bridge which holds six individual brass saddles so you can get the refined precision of modern intonation.
