Fender Quality Crafting
Being a semi-hollow guitar with its body made of naturally light Ash wood, the Fender Vintera ‘70s Telecaster Thinline is incredibly light. This makes it extremely comfortable to carry so you can play better for longer.
Add in that iconic single cutaway shape and you get easy access to the higher frets for fantastic playability and easy guitar solos.
What’s more; thanks to its semi-hollow design, the Telecaster Thinline gives you that naturally resonant and sparkling sound that only a semi-acoustic guitar can bring.
Vintage Playability
Attached to the body is a Maple neck with a “Slim C”-shape profile for that comfortable playability.
The Maple fretboard has an old-school 7.25” radius and holds 21 vintage frets so you get that same classic playing feel that the legendary guitarists of the 1970s enjoyed.
For increased customisation options, the neck features Micro-Tilt. This idea was first introduced by Fender in the early 1970s and allows you to make precise adjustments to your neck angle to achieve the perfect action for your personal preference.
Recreated Pickups for Authentic Sound
In order to give you the fully authentic sound of a ‘70s Telecaster Thinline, Fender have recreated the original pickups.
These re-voiced Wide Range humbuckers give you that powerful, fat and punchy tone that has been used on classic tracks for over four decades.
A three-position blade allows you to choose between using either pickup individually or both at once.
A simple Master Volume, Master Tone control setup gives you quick and easy control over your output so you can get the perfect sound in no time.
Vintage-Style Hardware
Staying true to their commitment of creating an accurate ‘70s Telecaster Thinline, this Fender Vintera model features vintage-style hardware throughout.
Fitted to the body of the Vintera Telecaster Thinline is a vintage-style string-through-body hardtail Strat bridge.
Fitted with six saddles, this bridge offers accurate intonation while the string-through design provides enhanced resonance and fantastic sustain.
Look to the headstock and you’ll find six “F”-stamped tuning machines boasting precise and secure tuning and period-correct looks.
