Classic Mustang Style
The Fender Vintera 60s Mustang is made from traditional Alder.
The offset waist and sloped back shoulder design of the Fender Mustang electric guitar offer ergonomic comfort and easy access to the higher frets.
Adding to the great looks of the Fender Vintera 60s Mustang, the body holds a contrasting 4-ply aged white pearloid pickguard.
Vintage Playing Experience
Attached to the body is a Maple neck with a ‘60s C-shape for a classic and comfortable fretting hand grip.
Atop the neck is a vintage radius 7.25” fretboard which holds 22 vintage-style frets so you get the same playing feel the legendary guitarists of the 60s enjoyed.
Newly Voiced 60s Mustang Pickups
Giving you authentic 60s Mustang tone is a set of newly voiced single-coil pickups.
Recreations of the 1960s originals, these pickups give you that crisp and articulate tone that made the Fender Mustang so popular.
Another feature that set the Fender Mustang apart from the competition was its unique electronics.
The Fender Vintera 60s Mustang has a three-position toggle so you can switch between using either pickup or both at once.
You can further shape your sound using the two classic pickup slider switches along with Master Volume and Master Tone controls.
Vintage-Style Hardware
Continuing the commitment to authentic, the Fender Vintera 60s Mustang is fitted with vintage-style hardware throughout.
On the body, you’ll find a vintage-style Mustang floating tremolo and bridge offering that fantastic whammy-bar action so prevalent in the 1960s.
Up on the headstock, there are six vintage-style tuning machines with white buttons. These offer old-school good looks along with precise and secure tuning of your strings.
