Made in Corona, California
Coming out of the legendary Fender facility in Corona, California, USA, this Fender Telecaster demonstrates the best of Fender craftsmanship.
The body is made from two pieces of dark, grain-filled ash and has a beautifully stunning figured Red Mahogany top for a beautifully unique, high-end appearance.
The body is also treated to tortoiseshell binding which matches the 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard.
Attached to the Fender Rarities Telecaster’s body is a one-piece Maple neck with an incredibly comfortable “Deep C” shape.
Atop the neck is a Maple fretboard with a 9.5” radius and 22 narrow tall frets for precise, modern playability.
Premium Pickups
Giving the Fender Rarities Red Mahogany Top Telecaster a voice that is as unique and full of character as its appearance is a set of Custom Shop pickups.
A vintage-style ‘50s pickup at the bridge gives you that classic sound harkening back to the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll and the birth of the Fender Telecaster itself.
For the neck pickup, Fender have installed a Twisted Tele pickup giving your tone adding brightness to your tone with a touch of sparkling Stratocaster character.
A 3-position blade is on hand allowing you to use either pickup individually or a combination of the two.
Keeping the classic Telecaster controls intact, this Fender Rarities Telecaster gives you the Master Volume, Master Tone set up but with gold knurled flat top control knobs for that extra touch of class.
High Quality Gold Hardware
In keeping with the gorgeous aesthetic of this guitar and its premium status, the Fender Rarities Telecaster features gold hardware throughout.
The body holds a strings-through-body Tele bridge with three compensated brass saddles which are easily adjustable to ensure precise intonation while keeping that old school look.
What’s more; the strings-through nature of the bridge enhances sustain with the string energy resonating through the Ash body and Red Mahogany top.
