Classic Stratocaster Style Made New
The iconic Stratocaster headstock is there along with the signature double cutaway Stratocaster body shape giving you easy access to the upper frets.
Strikingly different though is the wood choice with the body being made from Ash topped with Flamed Koa.
Kept natural, the beautiful grain of the wood is on show throughout, making this Fender Rarities Stratocaster a real head turner.
Modern Playability
Attached to the body is a quarter-sawn European Maple neck which has a modern “C” shape profile for great comfort.
Atop the neck is a Maple fretboard that has a 9.5” radius and 21 narrow tall frets adding to that awesome modern playability.
Unique and Versatile Electronics
With HSS pickup configuration, the Fender Rarities Flame Koa Top Stratocaster offers great versatility.
For the middle and neck pickups you’ll find Hot ’59 Strat pickups with gold foil covers. Not just great looking, these single-coil pickups, giving you original era Fender Stratocaster tone with hotter output.
Backing these up is a Tim Shaw-designed humbucker as the bridge pickup, filling out the tone and packing some real punch.
A 5-position blade allows you to choose from any of the following pickup selections:

- Position 3. Middle Pickup

Fitted to the body of the Flame Ash Top Strat is an American Vintage Synchronised Tremolo bridge offering vintage appeal, great trem action and precise intonation.
Up on the headstock you’ll find a set of six Pure Vintage “Fender Deluxe” tuning machines offering incredibly precise and secure tuning of your strings.
