Classic Telecaster Design
For this Player Series Telecaster's body, Fender have opted to stick with tradition and use Alder. This tonewood is renowned for it's crisp, clear tone, and great natural sustain, both of which perfectly compliment the guitar's single coil pickups for that traditional Tele "twang".
In addition to this, the distinctive single cutaway design of the Telecaster not only looks great, but it gives you easy access to the higher parts of the fingerboard.
Renowned for their reliability, versatility, and killer tones, the Telecaster is a veritable workhorse of a guitar, and is suitable for most styles of music.
Great Feeling Satin Finished Neck
Fitted to this guitar's body you'll find a sleek Maple neck with a Modern "C" profile shape. In addition to this, there's a 9.5" Radius Maple fretboard, with Medium Jumbo frets for enhanced playability.
This combination of wood, shape, and finish, results in a smooth and truly comfortable playing experience, wherever you play on it.
What’s more, if you’re fan of vintage Fender, you’ll love the ‘50s style spaghetti logo found on the headstock.
New Player Series Electronics and Quality Hardware
Newly developed for the Fender Player series, two New Player series pickups give the Fender Player Telecaster its fantastic voice.
A hot single-coil in the bridge position gives you the driving force needed for sizzling lead guitar performance while the chrome covered pickup in the neck position adds a warmer timbre.
With the three-position blade, you can choose between using either pickup or a combination of the two while Master Volume and Tone knobs allow you to dial in your preferred sound with ease.
The bridge provides great string stability and perfect intonation while its string-through-body design enhances sustain.
