Timeless Stratocaster Design
A popular tone wood due to its bright, balanced and resonant tone and excellent sustain, Alder has been used for the body of the Fender Player Stratocaster FR HSS.
The iconic double cutaway guitar design of the Stratocaster not only looks great but provides easy access to the upper frets; essential for those wailing solos!
Attached with a traditional 4-bolt neck plate emblazoned with a stamped “F” logo is a 25.5” scale Maple neck.
With a modern “C” shape and satin finish on the back, this neck is very comfortable to play while the 12” radius Maple fretboard holds 22 medium jumbo frets for great all-around playability.
Floyd Rose Hardware
The Fender Player Stratocaster FR HSS is equipped with a Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge and comes with a Floyd Rose collared tremolo arm allowing you to get deep and dynamic whammy action.
At the other end of the guitar, the Floyd Rose locking nut works as the perfect companion to the bridge.
With this premium hardware, the Fender Player Stratocaster FR HSS you get great sustain and incredibly dynamic tremolo action while retaining the strings tuning.
Versatile Electronics
Perfect for the modern guitarist that requires more raw power in their sound, the Player Stratocaster FR HSS breaks from the traditional three single-coil configuration and replaces the bridge pickup with a humbucker for extra driving force.
Complementing the humbucker are two New Player Series single-coil pickups found in the neck and middle positions.
An extremely versatile guitar, the Player Strat FR HSS has five different options for using the pickups:

- Position 2. Middle Pickup and Inner Coil of Humbucker
- Position 3. Middle Pickup

Classic Stratocaster single-coil tone combined with the heavier, chunkier sounding power of a humbucker.
