These guitars are designed for performing, whether its on stage or in the studio. Thanks to the solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the Fender Newporter Player produces a nicely balanced voice that projects fairly well on its own, even without the use of an amplifier/PA system.
Attached to the body is a super-sleek, slim-tapered "C"-shaped Mahogany neck. This neck is suitable for pretty much any playing style, and helps to enhance the overall volume and liveliness of the guitar.
In addition to this, the guitar's headstock is a traditional Stratocaster shape with 6 in-line tuning machines, and has been painted to match the body - in this case, Olive Satin.
