Crafting the Fender Newporter Player
Solid Spruce has been used for the Newporter Player’s top as is it is incredibly responsive and dynamic, making it suitable for all playing styles.
Furthermore, as it is a solid top, it'll sound great from day one and become more rich and resonant over time.
The Newporter Player also features a cutaway allowing for easy reach of the upper frets and optimised bracing which reduces mass while enhancing resonance.
Attached, you’ll find an easy-to-play, slim-taper C-shape profile mahogany neck which has a satin finish and a Walnut fretboard, providing you with a beautifully smooth and slinky playing feel.
Great Electronics and Hardware
A Fishman designed preamp system has been installed and allows you to plug the Fender Newporter Player into an amp or straight into the PA to play live and loud.
Volume, treble and bass can all be adjusted individually so you can easily dial-in the perfect tone while a built-in tuner allows you to tune your strings at all times without having to take along a separate tuner.
At the headstock, you'll find sealed nickel tuning machines allowing for quick and easy tuning of your strings.
A combination of a NuBone nut and matching saddle ensures fantastic sustain while the modern viking style bridge provides great transfer of string vobration to the solid Spruce top of the Fender Newporter Player.
