Mahogany Body
Usually the body on a Fender Stratocaster would be crafted from Alder or (in rarer cases) Ash, but for this guitar the company have opted for Mahogany, with an all-black finish.
Whilst Alder and Ash will give the guitar that telltale brightness and snap that the Strat is renowned for, with Mahogany you get a much warmer sound, with a richer midrange that's makes the ideal partner for Alnico Humbucker pickups.

Roaring Humbuckers
As mentioned above, in place of the more-traditional trio of Single Coil pickups, this Blacktop Stratocaster is equipped with a pair of powerful, Gold-finished, Alnico humbuckers.
These pickups combine perfectly with the Mahogany body to deliver a rich array of tones that sound incredible with a clean signal, and simply sublime with overdrive or distortion effects.
