Less a Guitarist, More a Force of Nature
Renowned for playing a right-handed Fender Stratocaster "upside down" (as he was left-handed), this helped to shape Jimi's unique sound. Not only was the tension on his strings different to what you'd get on a normal Stratocaster, allowing for more outrageous bends on the upper strings and, but the bridge pickup was also angled in a way that would make the lower strings more articulate than usual.

Pure Vintage Pickup Power
This Fender Jimi Hendrix Strat comes equipped with a tro of Pure Vintage '65 Grey-Bottomed Single Coil pickups, helping you to recreate those classic mid-60's Strat tones. These pickups are reverse-mounted, and the bridge pickup is even at a reversed angle to usual, perfectly recreating the same kind of conditions as Jimi experienced in playing an "upside down" right-handed model.
Reversed Headstock
As a fitting tribute to Jimi's penchant for playing right-handed guitars "flipped over", the new Fender Jimi Hendrix Strat features a reversed '70s-style headstock. This not only looks cool, but alters the relative length of the strings - giving you a unique playing feel, whilst adding more snap to the treble strings.
In addition to this, there's even a Jimi Hendrix signature on the back of the headstock, helping to commemorate Hendrix's venerable legacy.
