Rock Solid Construction
The body on this awesome bass has been crafted from Basswood - a relatively lightweight tonewood that's both resonant and resilient, making it perfect for touring musicians.
Bolted-on to the body is a rock-solid Maple neck, capped with a bound Maple fingerboard that sports black block fret markers, for a vintage Jazz Bass look.
That Classic Jazz Bass Sound
For the pickups on this guitar, Fender have opted to fit a pair of Vintage-Style Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups, sitting in the Bridge and Middle positions respectively.
These pickups are specially designed and developed to offer the kind of punch and midrange growl that made the original Jazz Bass instantly popular with players the world over.
Authentic Playing Feel
To impart a genuine, vintage-style Fender playing experience, this bass has been equipped with a classic "U"-shaped neck - a profile more commonly seen on vintage P-basses, but a welcome addition nonetheless.
This neck - combined with Vintage-sized frets and a bound fingerboard - delivers a truly vintage-style playing feel for your fretting hand.
In addition to this, the bass comes complete with a padded gig bag, allowing you to keep it safe when not in use.
