Fender's classic Telecaster guitar has been given a unique 1960's twist by Fender Japan with the release of this Fender FSR Classic 69 Tele in a Blue Flower finish - combining everything we know and love about one of the world's most popular electric guitars and giving it a colorful finish that perfectly invokes the free-loving spirit of the 1960s.
Previously Only Available in Japan!
Whilst these guitars may occasionally make an appearance from time to time in a pre-owned state or at guitar shows, they are now finally available as a new purchase outside of Japan. However, they're available for a limited time only, so get one whilst you can!
Produced by Fender Japan
Fender's Japan factory produce incredible instruments year after year, often taking those classic Fender guitars and basses that we know and love, then giving them a life of their own. Regardless of how the guitars look, they're always solidly constructed of the highest-grade components, and can stand up to the scrutiny of even the most die-hard Fender USA enthusiast. The only downside is that the instruments are often only made in small numbers, and therefore are very rarely seen outside of Japan... that is, until now!
Vintage Fender Construction
Built to the exact specifications of traditional late 1960's Fender Telecasters, the Classic 69 Tele utilises a solid basswood body and maple neck with rosewood stripe. As if the build quality wasn't 1960's enough, the Blue Flower finish just adds more fuel to the psychadelic fire, giving the guitar a truly unique look that harkens back to arguably the greatest and most innovative era of modern music.
New American Vintage-Style Pickups
The pickups in this guitar have been specially voiced to to accurately reproduce the performance of the great Fender Telecaster guitars of the late 1960s. Featuring that recognisably bright Tele "Spank", the Fender FSR Classic 69 Telecaster will have no trouble helping you to recreate that classic Tele sound we all know and love.
Classic Telecaster Bridge
The authentic design and performance of this guitar as a whole is reminiscent of Telecasters from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, helped in part by the excellent Vintage Tele "3-Saddle" Bridge.
