Top Notch Construction
For this guitar, Fender have opted to use Ash for the body - in traditional Tele style.
This instantly-familiar, single-cutaway body shape is designed to offer a combination of stability and easy access to the guitar's upper frets.
In addition to this, the neck, headstock, and fretboard on this guitar are all crafted entirely from Rosewood.
This stylish alternative offers more tonal warmth and depth than Maple, and is shaped with the new Deep "C" Profile, and adorned with 20 Narrow-Tall frets.
Shawbuckers
Sitting in the neck and bridge positions on this guitar you'll find a pair of Tim Shaw designed "Shawbucker" pickups.
These pickups are Fender's go-to humbuckers, and are renowned for their power and clarity, which makes them just as suitable for crisp cleans as dirty riffs.
In addition to this, all American Professional guitars feature a Treble Bleed Circuit within the Volume control. This circuit will allow you to reduce the guitar's volume without negatively affecting the treble frequencies.
