Postmodern Strat
Postmodern instruments from the Fender Custom Shop are not bound by any particular year or design era, instead paying homage to more than six decades of "Fender Firsts" based on the instrument.
The end result is an incredibly player-friendly guitar with incredible tone and performance-enhancing features, which allows freedom of creative expression like never before.
Premium-Quality Construction
Unlike a traditional Strat, this Custom Shop Postmodern model features a number of distinct-yet-discreet changes to deliver an altogether different playing experience.
For starters, there's the pickups which come to us wrapped up with two vintage-sounding, handwound Pablano single coils at the neck and middle positions, for that classic 60s Strat tone, and a Jeff Beck signature Seymour Duncan humbucker sitting in the bridge, for when you want to get really down and dirty.
In addition to this we have a compound radius fingerboard, that's specially designed to offer maximum levels of comfort, whether you're playing big open chords towards the nut, or huge, upper-register legato licks.
