For the American Ultra series, Fender have pulled out all of the stops and developed their most advanced range of guitars and basses yet.
With this American Ultra Precision Bass you get a modern, high-performance take on a true workhorse of an instrument, designed for players who demand the absolute best in terms of precision, performance, and tone.
Attached to that familiarly-shaped Alder body you'll find a Maple neck like no other.
This neck sports a unique "Modern D" profile shape, with rolled fretboard edges, a tapered neck heel, and a fast-playing compound-radius fingerboard.
The end result is a high-performance neck that's suited for speedy playing, whilst retaining that rock-solid P-Bass playing feel.
Thunderous Yet Noiseless Tones
Another addition for the American Ultra series is the newly-designed Ultra Noiseless pickups - in this case a Split Coil P-bass pickup, and a Single Coil J-Bass bridge position pickup.
In addition to the renowned combination of hum-free P-Bass and J-Bass tones, the American Ultra Precision Bass is equipped with cutting-edge wiring options.
This wiring - in the form of a newly-designed preamp and controls - offers accurate Cut/Boost options for the Bass, Middle, and Treble frequency ranges, along with a Master Volume, Pan Pot, and even an Active/Passive mini-toggle, giving you a huge array of tonal options at your disposal.

As a final touch, the American Ultra Precision Bass comes equipped with premium-quality hardware to offer incredible levels of stability and reliability.
