Tim Shaw-Designed V-Mod Pickups
Giving the American Professional Telecaster its versatile and vintage-inspired tones are two V-Mod single-coil Telecaster pickups.
Designed by pickup master Tim Shaw, these pickups have been engineered using a proprietary blend of alnico magnet types.
Then, both neck and bridge pickups have been voiced for their respective positions.
The end result is high-output tone with authentic vintage warmth and beautiful clarity for that legendary Fender Telecaster sound.
Versatile Electronics
Allowing you to choose how you want to use the pickups, the Fender American Professional Tele has a 3-way pickup.
You can choose between using either pickup individually or a combination of the two.
For further sonic shaping, you have Master Tone and Master Volume controls.
The Master Volume has been fitted with a treble-bleed circuit which maintains your high end even at lower volumes so you get your full tone no matter what volume you play at.
Exclusive Neck
Exclusive to this limited edition light ash Telecaster is its Mod Shop maple neck.
Featuring a modern “C” to “D” shape, you get excellent comfort and playability wherever your fretting hand travels.
Atop the neck is a super-smooth Maple fretboard holding 22 narrow-tall frets. As their name would suggest, these frets are both narrower and taller than medium jumbo frets, making them great for note bending.
They’re also good for maintaining precise intonation so chords are clear and defined wherever you hold them on the neck.
High Quality Hardware
A small but important design element that has made its way from original-era Fender is the genuine bone nut.
This nut gives you enhanced tone with a bright and more “organic” sound along with naturally improved sustain.
Fitted to the body of the American Pro Tele is the new American Professional Telecaster bridge which comes equipped with three compensated brass barrel saddles.
These saddles provide accurate intonation while bringing in some vintage-style tone.
The “ashtray” cover of the bridge has been redesigned to make sure it stays out of the way, even when you’re palm-muting.
