The body of the Fender American Performer Telecaster has been crafted from Alder because of its excellent resonance and sustain.
The lower bout of the body features a cutaway that gives the Telecaster its distinctive look while providing easy access to the higher frets.
The Maple neck boasts a silky-smooth satin finish and a modern “C” shape profile giving you an incredibly comfortably grip that is lightning fast to play.
Atop the neck is a Maple fretboard with a modern 9.5” radius and 22 jumbo frets for easy playability and precise, effortless bends.
Fender Yosemite Pickups and Greasebucket Circuitry
Designed for sonic versatility and dynamic tones suitable for all musical situations a set of two Fender Yosemite pickups give the American Performer Stratocaster its powerful voice.
These newly designed pickups feature flat-staggered pole pieces in order to give you increased output with coatings that keep feedback under control while letting the coil breathe.
A three-position toggle allows you to switch up how you use the pickups with your choice of using either pickup individually or both together.
Equipped with Greasebucket circuitry, the Master Tone knob allows you to roll off the highs without adding bass, keeping your output beautifully crisp.
