Fender Jazz Bass Body?
Your eyes don’t deceive you – in true Fender Alternate Reality Series style, the Sixty-Six electric guitar features a downsized Jazz Bass body.
Made from Ash, the body is ergonomic and elegantly curved and adds a bold visual statement to accompany the stunning sound of this limited edition Fender guitar.
Modern Playability
Attached to the body is a Maple neck that has a modern “C” shaped neck profile for great, modern playability.
Atop the neck is a beautifully smooth Maple fretboard with a modern 9.5” radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets for an overall comfortable and easy playing feel.
Vintage Style Hardware
In contrast to its modern playability, the Fender Sixty-Six comes equipped with some fantastic vintage-style hardware.
The six-saddle vintage style synchronised tremolo gives you rock solid tuning stability, old-school looks and the all-important trem action.
Up on the headstock is a set of Fender vintage-style tuning machines offering precise and secure tuning along with a touch of vintage class to the guitar’s aesthetic.
Versatile Electronics
Allowing the Fender Sixty-Six to produce sound as stunning as its unique looks, it comes equipped with a very interesting set of pickups.
In the bridge position is a Player Series Alnico 2 humbucking pickup which is accompanied by two Player Series Alnico 5 Tele single-coil pickups in the middle and neck pickup positions.
This flexible HSS pickup configuration allows you to go from fat lead licks to groovy rhythm tones and everything in between.
With the 5-position blade you can choose from any of the following pickup selections:

- Position 2. Bridge and Middle Pickup
- Position 3. Middle Pickup
- Position 4. Middle and Neck Pickup
- Position 5. Neck Pickup
You can further shape your sound with the convenient Master Volume and Master Tone controls.
