All Solid Wood Construction
The Faith FV-PERC has the iconic Venus shape; a guitar style that really put Faith guitars on the map.
With Faith Venus’ 15” lower bout combined with a slim body depth you get the best of both worlds.
It is big enough for huge sound but small enough to remain comfortable and manageable; ideal for active and physically expressive performances.
For the top of the FV-Perc Venus, Faith have used solid Engelmann Spruce which gives your tone a rich, mature character.
For the back and sides, Faith have gone with solid Mahogany. Mahogany helps produce a loud sound with beautifully bright and clear trebles.
Patrick James Eggle X-brace design has been used for the quarter-sawn Spruce bracing, resulting in enhanced resonance and strengthened construction.
The body of the Faith Venus also features a cutaway allowing for easy reach of the higher frets.
Furthermore, being made from all solid wood, the FV-PERC Natural Venus will improve in tone the more you play it.
Satin Finished Neck
Attached to the body with a sturdy Patrick James Eggle bolt-on design neck joint is a Mahogany neck.
With its satin finish, your hand glides up and down the neck, giving you fast and smooth playability.
Atop the neck is a great looking, great feeling Macassan figured Ebony fretboard for a delightful playing area.
Fishman Ink Body Electronics
Really setting the Faith FV-PERC apart from many other electro-acoustic guitars is its Fishman Ink Body electronics.
Designed with a unique body sensor, the Fishman Ink Body pickup is perfect for players that like to create percussive effects with the guitar’s body.
Tapping on the body, drumming on the bridge, whichever way you like to add a beat to your music from the guitar. These Fishman electronics are designed to relay that sound to keep it musical, without being too boomy and overpowering.
Furthermore, the Fishman Ink Body preamp has a great range of features including an LCD tuner, EQ and volume controls. Because of these options, you will always sound great – plugged in or unplugged.
High Quality Hardware
On the body of the Faith FV-PERC Natural Venus is a Macassan figured Ebony bridge offering fantastic transfer of vibration from the strings to the solid Engelmann Spruce top.
TUSQ is used for the nut and saddle because it is precision engineered under high heat and pressure.
As a result of this treatment, the saddle remains uniform in density throughout and works wonderfully in tandem with the Rosewood bridge while the nut enhances the frequencies that remain in the strings, giving you fantastic sustain.
Up on the headstock, there are six Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney buttons, offering precise and incredibly secure tuning of your strings.
The tuners are finished in gold, adding the aesthetic excellence of this magnificent instrument.
