What was your first instrument?
My first instrument was piano at the age of 5, and I still play to this day.

What are the top 3 gigs you’ve been to?
The top 3 gigs I’ve been to are Queens Of The Stone Age at Roskilde Festival in 2003, Super Furry Animals at Bangor University in 2009, and The Joy Formidable at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds in 2016. All absolutely amazing gigs, and I got to meet Gruff Rhys and Ritzy Bryan, two of my favourite singers.

Favourite Simpsons episode?
The Simpsons is still the best cartoon family TV show of all time, my favourite episodes are Homer The Heretic, Lisa The Vegetarian and Bart Gets An F.

Favourite synth?
My favourite classic synth is the Roland Juno-6, nothing else sounds quite like it. My favourite current synth is the Roland JD-XA, it deserves way more attention than it currently gets, and I believe it will be a future classic!

What was the first CD you ever bought?
The first CD I ever bought was Spice by the Spice Girls! A pop classic ?

Favourite all-time film?
My favourite all-time films are Back To The Future, A Few Good Men and Inside Out, which is by far the best Pixar movie.

In your opinion, the best all-time album is...?
My favourite all-time albums are Abbey Road by The Beatles, Guerrilla by Super Furry Animals and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins. All are brilliant, imaginative albums which take the listener on a complete journey the way all good albums do.

What are your three favourite brands?
My favourite brands are Roland for their imagination, creativity and forward-thinking, Moog for their craft and attention to detail and Fender for the HSS Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red!

Do you have any non-music related hobbies outside of work?
My non-music related hobbies are rock climbing, swimming and video games.

If you could live in any state in America, which would it be?
If I could live in any American state it would be sunny California!
