What was your first instrument?

Guitar! A black and white Encore that came with a 10w B.B Blaster amp.

What are the top 3 gigs you’ve been to?

1. My first Download in ‘04 when I finally saw Metallica and Korn (I was 13). 2. Whitechapel with support from The Acacia Strain and Impending Doom. 3. Last but not least, I would probably say my old band A Trust Unclean album release in London. It was off. the. chain. People jumping off the PA speakers, etc. You get the idea!

Favourite quote from which movie?

The whole of ‘Snatch’. Off the top of my head, my favourite quote would be: "Stop that dog... from dribblin'... on my seats."

What was the first CD you ever bought?

I bought them together so they were Megadeth - Capital Punishment, and Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP.

In your opinion, the best all-time album is...?

ALL TIME? Metallica - ... And Justice For All.

If you could jam with any of your music heroes (dead or alive), who would it be?

Gotta be Dime from Pantera!

What are your three favourite brands in store?

Tama, Mapex, and Zildjian.

Where did you play your first gig?

Wow, first gig? That's going back a bit! It was at my local music venue called The Courtyard in my hometown in Bicester.

What’s your proudest moment?

So many moments but probably being able to afford my favourite double pedals that I've wanted since I started drumming at 13. Axis longboards!

Most embarrassing gig story?

Our last gig on tour in Sunderland at a really nice venue with a big crowd. We used backing tracks which meant I had to play to a click. You get where I'm going with this lol. Basically, I had to balance my mini mixer on a stack of crates as my in-ears were not long enough for it to be on the ground. The bass frequencies were too much and my mixer fell off which yanked my in-ears out and threw me off. I had no idea where I was in the song or if I was in time to the backing track. Whilst that was happening, my kick trigger was going mental because of the bass vibrations which threw me off even more. There's been a few more embarrassing moments but that was the worst!

What’s the best thing about working at PMT?

DRUMS!
