Bolted on to the body is a quartersawn Maple neck, topped with a Maple fingerboard that's been carved to suit super-fast playstyles.
Top Notch Construction
The Wolfgang's headstock is specially-shaped to offer optimal tuning fidelity - essentially keeping the strings "straight" beyond the nut, to maximise tuning stability and longevity.
In addition to this, there's an EVH-Branded Floyd Rose tremolo bridge and locking nut, which not only adds even more tuning stability, but allows you to add inflections to your playing, ranging from slight shimmers to outrageous divebombs.
Not only that, but the bridge is equipped with an EVH D-Tuna - a switch that allows you to quickly drop the low E string down to a D without affecting the rest of your strings!

Fitted directly to the body in the Neck and Bridge positions are a set of Flagaship, custom-designed EVH Wolfgang humbuckers.
These pickups offer a dynamic and articulate voice, coupled with incredible sustain that's ideal for those silky legatos and huge string bends.
In addition to this, the Volume knob features a low-friction design, allowing you to perform speedy violin-like volume swells with ease. Don't worry about accidentally nudging the Tone pot out of place though: this pot is designed to resist easy turning.
