Eddie Van Halen's "Frankenstrat" guitars from the late 70's / early 80's sport arguably the most recognisable finishes in the history of electric guitars. The familiar stripes, regardless of what colour scheme is used, instantly bring to mind some of the most mindblowing guitar playing seen in contemporary music.

An Affordable, Modern Take On a Metal Icon
Featuring that famous Red, White and Black striped finish on a lightweight basswood body, this guitar is ready to rock, and then some.
The single, ferociour Wolfgang bridge humbucker, with single Volume control pot (labelled as "Tone", just like the famous Frankenstrat), let you know that the guitar isn't messing around, whilst producing an array of bright, articulate tones that let you cut through the mix, retaining its voice even when heavily saturated with effects.
Exquisite Tuning Stability
One of Mr VH's signature sounds came by way of making extensive use of his whammy bar. The Floyd Rose locking nut and tremolo combination means that you can divebomb to your heart's content without affecting the guitar's tuning or intonation! Not only that, but this particular Floyd Rose locking tremolo features the EVH D-Tuna, allowing you to drop your Bottom E down to a D at the flick of a switch, without then having to fiddle around with the nut and bridge to adjust the tuning on the rest of the guitar!
A Delight to Play
Featuring a lightweight, and ergonomically curved familiar body-shape, the EVH Striped Series guitar is incredibly comfortable to play. Add to that the super-fast and thin neck, and you've got yourself a guitar that is just as much of a pleasure to play whilst sitting on a stool in the studio, as it is rocking out on stage. Play as many face-melting solo's and heart-bursting riffs as you could wish to, at whatever speed you could want, and you'll still be left wanting to play more.
