Like the original 5150, this new EVH 5150 Series guitar features an instantly-familiar, modified S-Style body, with a deeper upper body curve.

In addition to this, there's a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn neck, with a modified "C" profile shape, a compound radius fingerboard, and that famous "hockey stick" headstock.

The end result is a lightweight guitar that offers you fast, easy, and comfortable access to every note on the fretboard, opening up a whole world of dynamic playstyles to you.

Versatile Electronics

Whilst Eddie may have been mostly renowned for his exhilirating playing technique, the tone he achieved from his guitars and amps was argually as important to the end product.

With that in mind, these EVH Wolfgang Humbuckers have been created to offer a balanced array of tones.

With the Alnico 2 bridge position humbucker you get an awesome amount of articulate punch with sweet sustain, making it ideal for thick, chunky rhythm sections.

In contrast, the neck position pickup can take you through no-nonsense overdrive and endless sustain, through to nice articulate cleans when the volume is rolled back.

In addition to this, the custom-designed EVH-branded low-friction volume control allows for accurate volume tapering and smooth volume swells.

Top Notch Hardware

For the dive-bomb enthusiasts out there, there's an EVH-branded top-mount Floyd Rose bridge with fine-tuners, and corresponding locking nut.

In addition to this there's a set of EVH-branded Gotoh tuning machines, and a patented EVH D-Tuna, which allows you to switch back and forth from standard tuning to Drop-D and back again with ease.
