The Evans 200 Snare Side 13" Clear Drum Head is at the brighter end of the Evans drum heads. It features a single ply 2mil film for strong sustain and tone. With Evans unique Level 360 Technology, this 200 snare side offers a reliable tuning range for your snare drum.
A Snare Side Head with Tonnes of Tone
Within the range of Evans resonant snare drum heads, the 200 snare side sits at the brighter end of the spectrum. The 300 offers a more middle of the road option while the 500 provides a much darker sound with limited sustain.
Therefore, if you're looking for a bright, popping, crisp snare drum sound with lots of response and sensitivity this is a great option. Its thin single ply 2mil construction allows this head to provide bags of sustain and tonnes of tone with a very open sound.

Evans Level 360 Technology
As with all Evans drum heads, this 13" 200 Snare Side features unique Level 360 Technology. This technology consists of a steeper collar to the rim of the drum head which ensures balanced contact with the shell bearing edge. This means the head makes proper contact with the shell ensuring a consistent fit so that the head won't damage easily or lose tension. The rim of the drum head also features roll-over hoop designed to improve the strength and stability of the head without diminishing performance. This technology ensures a more consistent head to shell contact that provides a wider range of tuning, better responsiveness and resonance, and a stronger, longer lasting head. Sounds like a win win!
