Who Is Tom Araya?
Tom Araya is a Chilean-American musician, best known as the lead-singer and bassplayer for thrash metal outfit Slayer.
Renowned for his powerful bass riffs and growling vocals, Tom Araya is often cited as one of the greatest metal vocalists and bassists of all time.
Tom was one of the first bass players to receive his own ESP signature bass series, and the LTD TA-600 continues that legacy in style.
High Quality Construction
With it's unique body shape - crafted with a "Neck-Thru-Body" construction and Alder "wings" - the LTD TA-600 offers an excellent combination of looks, tone, and playability.
The LTD TA-600's neck is crafted from solid Mahogany, with a Thin "U" profile shape, making it perfect for faster playstyles.
In addition to this, the bass sports a 35" scale length, which results in increased levels of intonation, and a more articulate tone.
EMG Pickups
As per Tom Araya's instructions, the ESP LTD TA-600 comes equipped with a set of EMG 35DC pickups.
These powerful, modern-sounding humbuckers are perfect for bass players looking to really cut through any mix.
Crafted with ceramic bar magnets, the extremely versatile EMG 35DC provides plenty of punch and clarity, with a crisp top end, and high levels of output.
