LTD Black Metal Series
Guitar's from ESP's LTD Black Metal lineup are comparible in build quality to their LTD Deluxe "1000" series instruments, but with some key differences.
The key difference being that the aesthetics are - to put it simply - dark and menacing, with all-black finishes, even down to the pickups and hardware.
In this case we also have a featureless Macassar Ebony fingerboard with no fret inlays - just glow-in-the-side side markers, for your eyes only.
Single Pickup Design
Adding a menacing voice to match the looks is a single EMG 81 humbucker, sitting at the guitar's bridge position.
This pickup is one of the most popular EMG's ever made, and has been used by some of metal's top players since the 1980s.
Featuring detailed intensity, incredible high end cut, and fluid sustain, this pickup can truly help your guitar to come alive.
As if that wasn't enough, there's also an EMG TKO killswitch, complimenting the single Volume control, for when you want to add a little extra "chop" to your playing.
