ESP's latest Kirk Hammett signature guitar is sure to excite fans of classic horror movies: introducing the LTD KH-WZ White Zombie, an accurate reproduction of Kirk's own guitar that features movie poster artwork from the vintage Bela Lugosi film of the same name.
Fast Neck, Powerful Pickups and Gorgeous Artwork
Featuring a lightweight Alder body, smooth and fast maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (complete with bat and spider inlays), a Floyd Rose bridge/vibrato unit, and a pair of active EMG 81 pickups, the LTD KH-WZ is a shred-machine to be reckoned with. As if that wasn't enough, each one comes complete with a custom graphic form-fitted case courtesy of the Tombstone Case Company (see pics).
High Powered Pickups
Housing a pair of high-powered, active, EMG 81 pickups in both the bridge and neck positions, the Ltd KH-WZ White Zombie is perfect for fast-playstyles, and produces a sound that can be best described as "blistering". EMG 81's have been designed to feature incredible amounts of high end cut with a nice fluid sustain, - perfect for helping you cut through even the most dense mixes - and has been one of EMG's most popular pickups for more than 30 years.
