Classic Dreadnought Design
For the body on this guitar, Epiphone opted for a classic Gibson design: the timless Square Shouldered Dreadnought - a shape renowned for producing an even balance between volume, size, and ease of playing.
In this case the soundboard has been crafted from layered Sitka Spruce, whilst the back and Sides is layered Mahogany, resulting in a rugged level of construction that's guaranteed to last you for years to come!
Ideal For Beginners
Not only does this guitar look and sound great, it's also very comfortable to play, despite its Dreadnought-sized body.
With its comfortable C-shaped neck profile, medium jumbo frets, and shorter 24.724" scale length (as opposed to the more traditional 25.4") the guitar not only sports less string tension, but also reduces the distance that your fingers need to stretch to form accurate chord shapes!
In other words: you can play this guitar for hours on end with minimal levels of hand fatigue, making those long home-practice sessions simply glide by.
