Solid SG Crafting
The neck is a mahogany 60's SlimTaper, with an Indian Laurel fingerboard atop. With 22 Medium Jumbo frets and 12" fingerboard radius delivers a super comfortable and fast feeling experience. Great for those screaming solos and fast chunky chops.
The Alpine White finish is clean and crisp. It will stand out on stage as, making sure the audience knows the player.
Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO Pickups
The SG Standard lands with a pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO pickups installed.
These pickups produce that classic SG voice, easily recognisable with a huge range. Fat and thick, great for that raucous blues-rock and defined metal sounds.
Cutting through the mix, the Classic PRO Pickups are ideal for every design of music.
Tonal Control
A three-way toggle lets you select one or the other pickup, or both pickups at the same time.
This offers you a score of different tones, with separate volume and tone controls. You can mix up the tones, find an ideal or a set of perfect tones that you can use for your individual needs.
Quality Hardware
To ensure fine stability, the Epiphone SG Standard features all-metal Nickel hardware.
Featured in the body of the guitar, the LockTone ABR Tune-o-matic Bridge and Stopbar tailpiece. This allows you to commit a fast setup and detailed intonation.
At the other end, on the headstock, you'll find a set of solid Grover Rotomatic machine heads 18:1 ratio.
