Building the Epiphone G-400 Deluxe PRO
Using the same dimensions and build techniques present in the Kalamazoo factory when making the original SGs, the Epiphone G-400 Deluxe PRO gives you an authentic SG experience.
Traditional Mahogany is used for the Epiphone G400 Deluxe PRO's body while the distinctive double cutaway design gives you easy access to the higher frets.
The body of this deluxe model features a Flame Maple top adding a premium level of aesthetics to an already gorgeous guitar.
Attached, you'll find a Mahogany neck sporting a 1960s SlimTaper "D" profile for the vintage playing feel that put the Gibson SG on the map back in the day.
Atopt he neck is a Pau Ferro fretboard with a 12" radius which is perfect for lead guitar handling even the widest bends.
Alnico Classic PRO Humbuckers with Coil Splitting
The Epiphone G-400 PRO has a huge palette of tones for you to perform with because of its feature-packed electronics.
Acting as the driving force behind this incredible electric guitar's tone is a set of two Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbucking pickups.
These humbuckers give you classic Alnico tone but with modern refinement so youg et the best of both worlds.
A three-way pickup selector allows you to flick between either pickup or use both at once.
Put the finishing touches on your tone with the two volume, two tone control set up featuring 500K potentiometers for great performance.
Furthermore, the pickups have been set up to allow for coil-tapping. Just pull the volume knob up on either pickup to turn switch it over to single-coil mode.
