As part of a Limited Edition run only available to select Epiphone UK dealers, we're proud to stock this historic Jumbo, the EJ-200. Bringing back the legacy of the 'Flat Top' acoustics from the pre-war era, the wider body bout and slightly deeper body of the 'Jumbo' adds to the projection and volume, making it the ideal accompaniment to a solo singer songwriter.
If you're after a no-frills, straightforward acoustic but with a rich, complex voice, the EJ-200 is for you.
Distinctive tone and iconic jumbo styling
The tone from the EJ-200 Artists’s select spruce top is enhanced by the classic rosewood bridge and synthetic bone saddle. A tortoise shell style pickguard helps round-out the EJ-200 Artist's iconic look which even from far away, tells everyone that you’re playing the King of the Flat-tops.
The J-200 style is simply the world’s most famous acoustic guitar, known equally for it’s majestic look and focused, complex sound. Every great rhythm guitarist and singer of the last century made the J-200 their primary acoustic instrument on stage (and for record covers, too) including Don Everly, Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Presley, Gram Parsons, Buddy Holly, and Pete Townshend who composed The Who's Tommy on a J-200 style acoustic.
