Decades-Long Legacy
Originally introduced in 1961, the Epiphone Casino helped herald in a new age of thinline archtops produced at the Kalamazoo factory.
Due to its association with the 60's "British Invasion" of America, this incredible guitar became (and remains) one of the most recognisable and popular Epiphone guitars ever made. In fact, it's been the company's best-selling Archtop guitar for more than five decades!
High Quality Construction
This powerful, full-hollow-body archtop's construction is virtually the same now as it was in 1961.
Featuring a thinline 5-ply Maple body, with basswood top bracing, single-ply ivory binding to the top, back, and fretboard, and a glued-in Mahogany neck with a SlimTaper "D" profile, this guitar is both naturally resonant, toneful, and comfortable to play.
Newly-Designed Electronics
In addition to the superb natural tone of its body, this guitar is powered by a set of new Epiphone "Dogear" P-90 PRO single coil pickups.
These highly versatile, sensitive pickups sound full, clean and sparkly when played lightly. However, when pushed harder they produce that distinctive Casino growl, that lends itself perfectly to saturated signals.
Each pickup features independent Volume and Tone controls, allowing you to shape your guitar's voice accordingly.
