Epiphone BB King Lucille Guitar, Bone White Key Features
Superb Construction - Featuring a familiar ES-style body, crafted from 5-ply layered Maple with a Maple centerblock, and solid top piece with no F-Holes, this guitar is primed to rock out at even the loudest of volumes. In addition to this, a smooth, Rounded "C"-shaped Maple neck and bound Bone White fingerboard help to deliver a truly comfortable playing experience, whilst the shorter 24.75" scale length lets you perform those big, Bluesy string bends with ease.
Classic Humbucker Voice - Powering the voice on this amazing guitar you will find a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, sitting at the Neck and Bridge positions respectively. These outstanding pickups offer a vintage-style 'bucker sound, reminiscent of the late 1950s/early 1960s humbuckers that many consider to produce the "Holy Grail" of tone.
Flexible Electronics - Accompanying the above mentioned pickups you will find a versatile Varitone circuit and 6-way switch that allows you to filter certain tonal characteristics in each position for a wide range of tonal options. In addition to this the guitar also features another Lucille hallmark: stereo outputs! BB King requested these outputs on his signature guitars simply so he could sent one into a amp that would be set for controlling his treble frequencies, and the other into one that controls his Bass, giving him absolute control and the best of both worlds when he performs on stage.
Epilite Case Included - To keep the guitar safe as you travel to and from your performances, Epiphone have included one of their lightweight EpiLite soft cases. This durable case has been crafted to suit the ES-335 guitar style, and will protect "Lucille" from scratches, knocks and spills. It also features shoulder straps to make transportation a breeze.
