Woody's Way
One of the great modern instruments for bassists today, this Limited Edition Rumblekat Bass was personally designed by Woody, in collaboration with Epiphone, to best match his own playing specs. Fitted with a 3-point height-adjustable bridge, personally selected by Allen, you'll be able to set up this guitar to your own preference with incredible ease and precision.
With a 2.1" thick, sound-chambered mahogany body and a 5-ply flame maple top, the Rumblekat Bass delivers exceptionally resonant tones as well as boasting an incredibly sophisticated and tasteful curved body design.
Pack-a-Punch
Featuring a unique 30" scale length, compared to the standard 34" scale length of most basses, the short scale helps to deliver a brighter tone, popular in the 1960's era, combined with an increase in playability and easier-to-reach frets due to the shorter scale.
Thanks to the replica vintage-style, NYT Bass Mini Humbucker pickups, their unique, smaller design, narrow magnetic field and ceramic magnets help to producer a bright and clear output, whilst still maintaining that classic humbucker character.
Beauty Personified
The Allen Woody Limited Edition Rumblekat Bass doesn't just sound the part though, it looks the part too. Finished in a sultry wine red palette and garnished with gold hardware and an off-white binding, the colours compliment each other perfectly - giving this bass guitar a unique overall appearance that reflects its tone.
The sloped dove-wing headstock, found atop the bound rosewood fingerboard, features Allen Woody's signature, written in gold - proudly displaying his seal of approval for all to see.
