The HOG 2 is one of the most unique, inspiring effects units in the world of guitars. Delivering completely polyphonic voices and an incredible amount of sound customisation options, the EHX HOG 2 is almost an instrument in itself.
Innovative Technology
The HOG2 harmonic generator/guitar synthesizer can simultaneously generate multiple octaves and harmonics from your playing. Whether it is single notes, arpeggios or full chords, the HOG 2 is able to track every single not you’re playing.
Also, built-in to the EHX HOG2 are seven expression modes enabling you to modify your sounds using the included expression pedal, a MIDI controller or the expression button built into the HOG2.
An amplitude envelope generator and a 2nd-order low pass resonant filter allows for further sound sculpting resulting in sounds like you’ve never heard before.
Incredible, Inspiring Sounds
The HOG 2 gives you 10 different pitch levels, each with their own slider for you to control their output levels individually.
Delivering complete control over ten totally polyphony, glitch free voices ranging from two octaves below to four above your playing pitch with some harmonious intervals in between you get an incredibly full sound.
Utilising the different settings of the HOG 2 allows you to truly manipulate your guitar’s output. Emulation of wind, organ and classical stringed instruments is as easy as it is inspiring and enjoyable
