Featuring a 3-ply Okoume / Maple / Amaranth body, a Bolt-On Maple neck, an Amaranth fingerboard with oval fret inlays, two powerful humbuckers, and even an active 3-band EQ, you'll struggle to find anything better in the same price bracket.
High Quality Electronics
In a bass guitar, humbucker pickups are renowed for their loudness and consistency across the board.
This gives you a really wide tonal palette to play around with, with a stronger mid-presence, minus any of the characteristic ambient noisethan you'd normally get from a Single Coil pickup.
These humbuckers are further aided by the inclusion of an active 3-band EQ, which helps you shape your tone further by boosting/cutting the Treble, Middle, and Bass frequencies.
Bolt-On Construction
This particular construction type - with the neck bolted onto the body, as opposed to a "Neck-Through" construction - has been a mainstay popular bass guitars since the early 1950s.
Renowned for giving the bass a much more "punchy" sound than other construction types, a bolt-on neck is generally much easier and less expensive to repair should disaster strike.
There's an Extra String!
Bass guitars usually come equipped with 4 strings as standard, however you occasionally come across a 5 or even 6-stringed bass (anything more than that is just showing off).
In this case we have a 5-stringed bass, which features a Low B as the thickest string, as opposed to the usual E. This extra string gives you even more notes to play around with, and is suitable for almost any musical style.
