Dreadnought Body Shape
First introduced during the early 20th Century, the Dreadnought is the most popular acoustic guitar shape with players the world over. Renowned for their big booming voice, Dreadnoughts can be heard played on countless hit records over the decades. This body shape should provide enough volume and character to hear and feel each note precisely - an important part of the learning process for any new guitarist.
Spruce Laminate Top
Guitars crafted from Laminated tonewoods are renowned for their longevity, along with a robust nature. Due to the construction of these laminated woods, they are very rarely negatively affected by changes in temperature and humidity.
Subtle Finishing Touches
When you're just starting out, a Satin Finish on the neck is ideal as it feels comfortable to play over longer periods of practice time. The Eastcoast D1 feels right, straight out the box, and offers a tidy playing action to suit most player styles.
The D1 also features some really nice aesthetic touches like a Vintage-Style Eastcoast logo on the bridge and soundhole, offset dot inlays on the fretboard and sleek black hardware to complete the package.
