A Blazar for Musical Instruments!
The reverb's extra-long decay fed into a highly resonant filter is the sonic recreation of blowing your signal to bits, firing it through a black hole, and then beaming it back down on a cloud of cosmic dust. Needless to say this is more than just an ordinary reverb unit, and subtlety is definitely not on the cards.
The controls on the Transmisser is where the magic happens
- Decay controls the length of the reverb trails.
- Darkness (my old friend) controls the tone of the reverberated signal, switching between dark, light and every shade of grey in between.
- Freq controls the frequency of the resonant filter that processes the reverberated signal, and most importantly can be controlled by an expression pedal via the jack socket on the side of the Tranmisser.
- Warp acts as a system slew control, making things tighter and more refined the more clockwise you turn it
- Rate is hardwired for the optimum depth, controlling the speed of the system-wide modulation in a narrow range to create the unique and awesome range of sounds that the Transmisser is capable of
- Mix is the reverb blend control, letting you determal how much of the wet signal is blended with the dry

As with all pedals from EarthQuaker Devices, this pedal takes a standard 9v DC powersupply with negative centre barrel. We would recommend that you use a pedal-specific, transformer isolated power adapter in order to keep any unwanted unclean signal noise to a minimal level. Do NOT run this product at higher voltages than stated. The current draw of the Transmisser is 70mA
