Earthquaker Devices Aqueduct - Boutique, Handmade, True Pitch Vibrato Effect Pedal

Down in the murky depths of Akron Ohio (USA), there's a cave filled with white-coat-wearing geniuses that happen to produce some of the greatest effects pedals a guitarist can buy.

Swampy, Vintage-Style Vibrato, or Synth-Like Sonar Pulses... Your Choice!

With the Earthquaker Devices Aqueduct we see their latest entry in the effects world, a handmade True Pitch Vibrato pedal, with 8 different modulation modes, easy to use controls, a flexi-switch (for momentary operation), and all-analogue, true bypass circuitry.

Eight Different Modes

With the Aqueduct you get a whopping eight different pitch-shifting vibrato modes to choose from, making it suitable for a wide variety of musical situations.

Eight Modes to Choose From

Sine, Triangle, Ramp, and Square modes give you the tried-and-tested pitch mod effects, allowing you to add subtle and organic textures to your sound. Think Bridge of Sighs by Robin Trower, or (for something a little more extreme) that famous intro riff to How Soon is Now by The Smiths, and you'll be on the right lines.

Random? Why Not!

The Random mode gives you a "warped record" effect with Rate and Depth dialled down low, dial them up and you're really rolling the dice on an unpredictable assortment of greasy pitch-bends and chops.

My Bloody Valentine (No, Really...)

Envelope Controlled Pitch mode (aka Env P) comes complete with a wet/dry blend, which expands your tonal possibilities to also include chorus, flanger, and tactile tremolo bar-like bends. Earthquaker themselves refer to this setting as the "My Bloody Valentine" mode.

Flexi-Switch Technology

A fairly common feature on new Earthquaker Devices, the Flexi-Switch allows you to choose between a traditional switching style, and a momentary mode. With the momentary operation simply hold the switch down for as long as you want the effect to run, and when you release it the effect will be bypassed once more. Want to run it the regular way? No problem, simply tap the switch once to activate, and once to bypass.

Handmade in Akron, Ohio (USA)

Each and every Earthquaker Devices Aqueduct is handmade (by real hands) in the good ol' US of A. Keep your eyes peeled for them landing at a PMT Store near you soon, and be sure to request an in-store demonstration with one of our resident product experts!
