Responsibly Sourced Materials
For the top piece on this guitar, Cole Clark have opted to use Australian-grown Californian Redwood Sequioa - an unusual tonewood choice that's superb for softer strummers and fingerpickers.
In addition to this, the back and side pieces are made from Queensland Maple, a sustainable wood that is native to Australia, and offers a neutral sound (similar to Brazilian Mahogany) that's excellent for amplifying, and makes the perfect partner for the Redwood top.
Rock Solid Reliability
Unusually for streel stringed acoustics, those crafted by Cole Clark include a Spanish Heel at the base of the neck.
This means the neck is attached through the guitar's body as far as the sound hole, instead of being a simply bolt-on or glued-in dovetail join.
With this type of join the guitar offers a truly unique sound, with increased natural sustain.
Superb Electronics
Despite being a relatively new brand, Cole Clark have managed to develop and patent the most natural-sounding acoustic pickup system on the market.
The unique design of this system eliminates the famous piezo "quack", thanks to the different elements which are each designed to handle certain frequencies.
This system is comprised of 6 (yes, six) loaded under-saddle piezos for the bottom end, a face-sensor for the mid-to-high frequencies, and a condenser mic shelved for extreme highs.
