Responsibly-Sourced Tonewoods

As mentioned above, this awesome guitar has been crafted with a Queensland Maple back and sides, along with a Solid Bunya top piece.

With the Qld Maple used on the body we have a responsibly-sourced native Australian timber, which is tonally neutral-sounding - similar to South American Mahogany, but with a little extra snap.

Sitting atop this body is a piece of Bunya - another native Australian timber, that's responsible for more than half of Cole Clark's sales - which is ideal for hard-strummers and percussive players, and delivers that signature Cole Clark sound.

Spanish Heel

A unique-feature to Steel String Cole Clark guitars is the inclusion of a Spanish Heel or integral neck construction.

This type of neck is attached to the guitar's face all the way to the sound hole, as opposed to the more common bolt-on and dove-tail joins.

With this type of join the guitar offers a truly unique sound, with increased natural sustain, that's perflectly complimented by the internally-carved top and back pieces.

Unique Electronics

To deliver the best possible-sounding amplification, Cole Clark guitars set about developing a pickup system the likes of which has never been seen before.

With a whopping six loaded under-saddle piezos, a face-sensor, and a shelved condenser mic, this innovative 3-way system delivers a true acoustic image, without any of that famed piezo "quack".
