High Quality Construction
Featuring a sleekly-sculpted Okoume body, with a rock-solid bolt-on maple neck, this San Dimas Style 1 is built to not only offer superior levels of comfort, but also handle the ravages of the road and climate.
As if that wasn't reassuring enough, the heel-mount spoke wheel allows you to tweak the truss road with ease, even between songs.
Super Sleek Neck
Charvel are renowned for their fast-playing necks, a feature that helped cement their legendary status as far back as the 1980s.
This particular model comes equipped with their famous Speed Neck profile, and is capped with a 12"-16" compound radius Maple fingerboard. The neck grants you quick and easy access to every available note, whilst the radius of the fingerboard ensures the maximum level of comfort as you play them.
Whether your playstyle of choice is with heavy, low-end riffing or soaring lead lines with massive upper-registry bends, this neck and fretboard combination is up to the task.
Unparalleled Performance And Versatile Sound
For the kind of sound you'd expect from a Charvel of this calibre, you'll find a classic Seymour Duncan Humbucker set sitting in the neck and bridge positions.
The bridge position JB is a crisp, clear humbucker pickup that's ideal for both clean and distorted signals, whilst the neck position '59 is a rich, fat-sounding humbucker with a robust tone, with highly dynamic articulation and harmonic balance.
In addition to that, the Volume control pot features a Push/Pull coil splitting function, giving you a crisp, clear single coil tone from each pickup for when the need arises.
And finally, the Tone control is equipped with a No-Load function. From positions 1 through 9, this pot acts like a typical Tone control, but once you get to 10 the tone is removed completely, giving you an entirely natural, transparent sound.
