Classic Style
Alder forms the body of the Charvel Pro-Mod DK24.
The double cutaway profile of the Dinky body shape looks great and provides easy access to the upper frets; great for high flying solos.
Making sure there's nothing holding you back from reaching the heights you want to reach, the lower back bout and heel have been specially sculpted for improved high fret access.
Highly Playable Speed Neck
Attached to the body via sturdy bolt-on construction is a gorgeous caramelised Maple "speed" neck.
This neck is highly resistant to warping from adverse humidity and temperature because of its graphite reinforcement.
Furthermore, it boasts a hand-rubbed urethane back finish and speed contour giving you a extremely comfortable and fast playing experience.
Atop the neck is a 12" - 16" compound radius caramelised Maple fretboard. This compound radius gives you the optimum playing surface across all 24 jumbo frets.
It is more rounded at the nut for comfortable chording and chugging riffs. Move further up the frets and the fretboard flattens out to facilitate deep bends and articulate shredding.
With its rolled fretboard edges, the Pro-Mod DK24 feels like a guitar you've been playing for years.
High Performance Humbuckers
A HH pickup configuration made up of Seymour Duncan pickups give this Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 strong but versatile tones.
In the bridge pickup position is a Custom Seymour Duncan Full Shred SH-10B humbucking pickup delivering bright tone, tight low end and scooped mids with medium output.
Complementing this is a second humbucker; the Seymour Duncan Alnico II APH-1N, providing warm, sweet, vintage inspired tone.
Incredibly Versatile Controls
With its wide range of controls, the Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 gives you all the tools you need for incredible tonal versatility.
With the 5-position blade you can choose from the following pickup options:
- Pos 1: Bridge Pickup
- Pos 2: Both Outer Coils,
- Pos 3: Bridge & Neck Pickup
- Pos 4: Both Inside Coils
- Pos 5: Neck Pickup
A 2-way mini toggle is also on hand, giving you the option of All Series or All Parallel settings for the pickups.
The volume knob is fitted with a 500K EVH Bourns low-friction potentiometer for smooth, precise control over your output level.
Allowing you to get the true voice of the Seymour Duncan humbuckers is a No-Load tone control. What this means is it acts as a standard tone control from positions 1 to 9 but removes itself from the circuit at position 10 so you get your pickups' uncoloured sound.

Charvel have also installed a Graph Tech TUSQ XL for reduced string binding and improved sustain.
