Legacy 4K is an all-new analogue enhancement effect, inspired by the character of an SSL 4000 series console (often referred to as '4K'). By distilling 2 essential traits of the 4K sound into a single circuit, SSL has been able to create an effect that breathes new life into tracks that sound dull or lifeless. All happening in-the-box, pre-fader. This offers a unique chance to get some vintage SSL audio processing to spruce up recordings on a budget microphone, or when recording in less-than-ideal acoustic environments.
