ALL NEW PRS S2 MCCARTY 594 GUITARS REVEALED AHEAD OF  NAMM 2020

The team at Paul Reed Smith announce a range of new PRS S2 McCarty 594 guitars ahead of NAMM 2020. The new S2 McCarty 594, S2 McCarty 594 Singlecut and S2 McCarty 594 Thinline guitars represent the first time a McCarty model has been available outside the likes of the PRS Private Stock and Core series. Obviously, we’re all pretty excited about these guitars as it gives everyone the chance to get hold of these amazing McCarty 594 guitars. The S2 McCarty 594 guitars are capable of providing some incredible tones thanks to the 58/15 “S” pickups and dual volume and push/pull tone controls. The pickups can be coil trapped giving you the option of using single-coil sounds. These guitars feature 22 fret mahogany necks with bound Rosewood fretboards and PRS zinc two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners. Both the Maple top versions of these guitars including the double and single cut feature a Pattern Vintage neck shape. The S2 McCarty 594 Thinline features a thinner, one-piece, all-mahogany body and a Pattern Thin neck shape for added comfort. Let’s take a closer look at these guitars available to pre-order now.

PRS S2 MCCARTY 594

The S2 McCarty 594 is a beautiful, vintage-inspired instrument that offers players humbucking and single-coil tones via the 58/15 “S” Treble and Bass pickups. A 3-way toggle switch allows you to isolate or blend the pickups whilst the push/pull tone control layout means you can split the humbuckers into single coils. The combination of a 22-fret Pattern Vintage neck, as well as a slightly thicker back, encourages more sustain than usual, so your notes will sing out loud and clear. A Maple top provides the snap and articulation whilst the Mahogany blackwood keeps all the low-end rumble intact. The zinc two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners ensure your guitar provides rock-solid tuning stability. Colours available:

You can enjoy the full force of the 58/15 “S” humbucking pickups or activate the coil-split via the two push-pull tone controls and enjoy the sweet single-coil sounds on offer. A zinc two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners keep your guitar in tune and ensure the string resonance is fully realised – this thing will sing! Available colours:
