The Merseyside Guitar Show returns to Aintree Racecourse Exhibition Centre, Liverpool on Sunday 24th November 2019 from 10am – 4.00pm. So what can you expect from this year’s event?
As we enter the 85th guitar show, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever! Hosted by the good folks at Northern Guitar Shows Ltd, their 22 years of guitar event experience will certainly open your eyes to the huge world of all things guitar.
What should I expect this year?
In exchange for your affordable entrance fee, you will have to opportunity to interact with more than 100 exhibitors over four floors. The Merseyside Guitar Show promises to bring together every corner of the guitar world in one spectacle of a show. This is a perfect opportunity for you to find something truly unique to add to your collection. With new, vintage and pre-owned guitars, amps and pedals you will be able to buy, trade and sell. You can do this from the large array of retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors. Even if you are not in the market for something new, you will certainly walk away with a better understanding of your gear. You will also have an idea of what products would better your rig.
The Merseyside Guitar Show also offers workshops, demonstrations and live music throughout the day. These featured areas bring together some of the industry’s most respected names. Vintage Guitar will be presenting Carrie Martin, superb singer-songwriter and accomplished fingerstyle guitarist; three piece powerhouse, The Andy Bennett band will showcase their raw, explosive musicality. Former Stones Roses and Asia guitarist Aziz Ibrahim Esq. will be demonstrating the mastery of his knowledge in a multitude of genres. Finally, The Huers will be performing their catalogue of incredible songs. Don't miss their crystal harmonies through the phenomenal PA system provided by BOSE professional.
The Merseyside Guitar Show is not just a showcase of eye-candy, it’s a celebration of guitar lovers and the gear that creates the sounds of our musical heroes.
Who else will be there?
Workshops and demos will include Verve guitar legend, Nick McCabe playing Lucem Guitars. Additionally, blues legend and former Argent frontman, John Verity demonstrating Scott Dixon Inc speaker cabs.
What are my transport options?
As well as your affordable entrance fee, the location offers free parking for all. Additionally, it offers good transport links including proximity to the motorways and even a railway station in the venue grounds. If you are travelling from a long-distance, you can benefit from the large range of reasonably priced accommodation nearby.
How can I get admission?
For public admission it will be just £7 (pay on the door) with accompanied under-12's free.
