Following the same design of the 5C, the Blackstar HT5R adds stereo reverb, modeled on the Blackstar HT Venue Series. Creating the perfect space and atmosphere for live and studio recording. It also features dedicated EQ on the clean channel and distortion channel. A custom designed 12" speaker delivers raw tone and power. The patented ISF control', allows you to shape the guitar tone with superb results.

For the HT-5R, Blackstar have taken the HT-5C's tried and tested formula and added reverb to the mix for great effect. If you're already a fan of Blackstar amps and the HT-5 series, theres a lot to love about HT-5R.

Two Channel, 5 Watt Amplifier

The HT-5R comes equipped with both a clean and overdrive channel. Offering you plenty of tonal characteristics for any eager guitarist to play around with. As with many valve amps the HT-5R responds to the guitars volume and tone controls. This allows for a great deal of sound sculpting without needing to adjust the amp while gigging. This is what we consider a 'players' amplifier.

5 Watt, Push-Pull Design

Blackstar say that the amplifier is a low powered push-pull design. This produces the crunch and characteristics of a traditional 100W at a lower volume. The use of a 12BH7 dual triode valve in push-pull configuration helps to achieve this.

Digital Reverb

As mentioned above the newest feature to this amplifier range is the addition of a digital reverb. From a players perspective, the sound is authentic, warm and doesn't muddle tone. Even with a hefty amount of reverb dialed in. Blues players will love some of the clean, resonant tones you can pull out of this ampifier.

ISF Control

The 'ISF' control changes the voicing of the amp to sound either more 'British' or 'American'. It can take you closer to the sounds of British Plexi amps, to the Tweed amplifiers of the US. We should note that this control is exclusive to the overdrive channel.

Speaker Emulated Output

An emulated output allows you to capture sounds straight into a PA. This is great for gigs, recording or practicing.

12" Speaker

The HT-5C and HT-5R models both feature a Blackstar custom voiced 12" 50W speaker.
